This is it, my dear friend [08 Nov 2009|01:16pm] marraol [ mood | sad ] [ music | "Earth" by Michael Jackson/My Angel ] I went yesterday with my family to see this oh-so-famous movie about him - don't get me wrong, I admit at the beginning that I was quite sceptical and I didn't know why so many people love so much Michael Jackson. His music is indeed amazing but it doesn't appeal to me. So as I was saying I decided to give a go and for the first time "meet" MJ. . . . . . . . And And I really regret I haven't done it before. Michael Jackson is one of the greatest artists and one of the best humans I have ever meet. He is so pure and good. He could not hurt a fly. Now I understand why people called him "Peter Pan" - because deep inside he was still a lonely, confused child in an adult body. His voice reminded me of a voice of 5 year old boy - especially when he was talking with other people. He was so gentle, and in some way very fragile - but when he was singing I could see this passion, that he really loved singing and he really, really loved all od us. I couldn't not like him I LOVE THIS PART SO MUCH! AND THIS SONG - I LOVE IT! This is the best song from the movie - was very emotional, beautiful, sad and so pure - I really wanted to cry while listening to this song. When he was talking about our planet I could hear that it was real. Everything about MJ was real - his passion, power, love, everything. I often thought that such beautiful values almost never existed and here I found him My ANGEL He was an amazing singer but I think that "that" worl wasn't for him. A world of Hollywood wasn't for him. He was so pure and good for this... Paparazzi, insomnia, stress - and no to forget his family problems and his illness -> it was too much for him, too much for his poor soul... "THIS IS IT" probably the greatest concert that never happened   post comment

2x07 [08 Nov 2009|12:58am] baka_oni_ri I see Merlin has a stupid habit of leaving tracks of his presence like open cupboard doors _^_ AGAIN XDDD He looks so happy when conjuring things *o* AND GOD, WHY IS UTHER SO STUPID!!!!!!! WHY?! Wow, somebody remembered Morgana's a witch too? shock! XD Katie played well the scared lady ;) When I see Merlin/Colin's tears, my heart melts ;________; I love him, seriously. And when concerned Arthur (still in non-jerky mode) took him, I squeed! ♥♥♥ It's also the first time Merlin did as I thought he should do when heating the knife!! XD Seriously, one great ep, with someone FINALLY telling Uther he's stupid! Finally he heard some truth. Gaius, I love you for that! I only wish he'd keep his word in next episodes. help! I'm in inaka alone~! [04 Nov 2009|03:17pm] expatsjapan [shirudayo] Hey there fellow expats - this one should be easy.  I live in the inaka, and the variety of shops available for food, clothes and other things here is a bit on the sparse side to say the least.  There are a few creature comforts and non-ubiquitous japanese foods that I would like to buy.  I am looking on rakuten.co.jp for appliances and things like a camera, but I am wondering where other expats order food or clothes from? What stores do you trust, or are priced reasonably. (and has anyone shopped online for a camera - a DSLR specifically? if so, where did you shop and how was your experience?)
